Where a little idea grew into a big family adventure
How It All Began
Believe it or not, Barnyard Party Animals started with a simple walk. While strolling with my friend Lacie, a spark of an idea hit: what if we could share the joy of our animals with the whole community? We wanted to bring the farm to you, and "Waddle to You"—our mobile animal service—was born.
A Growing Vision
Over the years, the farm has truly evolved. It took my dad’s vision to build the hall right here on the property, and slowly, piece by piece, everything came together. About seven years ago, I stumbled across a video of Goat Yoga and thought, "We have to try that!" It took off instantly, and it’s been one of our favorite ways to share the farm ever since.
A True Family Affair
After a brief pause during COVID, we are back and stronger than ever as a family team. My mom, Teena, and my sister, Jen, are the heart of our on-farm parties. Since my own kids are older and busy with sports, they’ve stepped in to make sure every celebration is magical. My sister-in-law, Rebecca, is our mobile travel specialist, bringing the party to your doorstep with our animal crew.
Where You’ll Find Me
And me? I’m Sarah. I’m the dreamer who started this journey on that walk years ago. These days, I’m involved in every single aspect of the farm. I help out wherever I’m needed most, so you never know exactly where you’ll spot me—but I’m always behind the scenes working on our next big adventure!
The Next Chapter
We are so excited to see where this farm goes next. My sister Jen is even writing children’s books based on our real-life animal adventures! We have so much in the works, and we can't wait to share it all with you.
More Than Just A Farm
What started with a simple walk has grown into a full-blown destination for family fun. Today, Barnyard Party Animals is so much more than just a farm visit; we’ve expanded to include our beautiful hall rentals—a project close to my dad's heart—and our cozy camping experience, which we’re thrilled to say was named one of the top farm stays in Canada for 2025! While we love hosting birthdays, tours, and goat yoga right here on the property, we also know the fun shouldn't be limited to our farm. That’s why Rebecca and her 'Waddle to You' mobile crew hit the road to bring our animals straight to your doorstep for any occasion. From our backyard to yours, we’re all about sharing the joy of our farm family with yours."
